Can a husband apply for wife's greencard when he is filing for his Citizenship

Hi,

Thanks for the information and discussions which helps lot of people. I request you to help me with information for my questions:

My husband had his green card since 5 years and he has told that he has applied for his citizenship and he has also applied for my greencard. We married last year(1 year).

1. Can my husband apply for green card when he is filing for his citizenship (at the same time)

2. He has not asked me to fill any immigration papers and has not taken my signature on any of those application. Can he file for my greencard without me signing on any document or paper

3. Due to work I have moved to a different apartment(near my workplace) but living in the same state 45 miles away from him. He is saying that as I have moved, the application is on hold. But I have not yet changed the address in immigration website. Is it true, that holding of the petition can happen?

1. Those are two separate processes.

If he applies for you before he is US citizen, you will be under F2A category. If he applies for you after he is US citizen, you will be under IR category.
Alternatively, he can apply for you before becoming US citizen and then upgrade the petition.

3. You really need to sort out the matters with your husband it is sounds like internal domestic issue.
