Filing n-400 questions

I will be completing my 5 period by 07/12/2013. I understand that I can File my N-400 90 days before I complete 5 years period. I am Planning to File my N-400 on 04/13/2013. I need the following Clarifications:

01.Can I Pay the MONEY ORDER (Filing Fee) even before 04/13/2013.
02.What would they do during this 90 day period (Any progress in Processing my Application).
03. I am Applying from Seattle (WA). Can I have short visits to other States during this 90 day period.

Your suggestions & Explanations would be of much help.

1. wait a few extra days so that they don't mistakenly calculate that you've applied to early. It'd be an expensive rejection. You send the cheque along with the application. No paying early.
2. Yes, you can be fully done with everything except the oath before you even reach your 5 year anniversary.
3. You can travel normally. Just don't MOVE HOUSE.
