    I will be applying for citizenship on the basis of marriage to a US citizen. As mentioned in document checklist below, is it required to send all the items in point # 'A' or any 1 of them will suffice. I do not have B or C list documents.

    In other words, does USCIS need Tax returns mandatorily, or will bank statement would be enough.

    Please advice.

    Documents referring to you and your spouse:

    a. Tax returns, bank accounts, leases, mortgages, or birth certificates of children; or

    b. Internal Revenue Service (IRS)-certified copies of the income tax forms that you both filed for the past 3 years; or

    c. An IRS tax return transcript for the last 3 years.
