Getting a Indian passport for the US born chil

Hi

If the child is born in US for the Indian couple. Is that possible to get a Indian passport? I dont want my child to have a US passport. Since my first child was born in india and am planning for the next child here in US and i dont want to draw a line between the citizenship between the childs, i want to clarify this.
