  • Unable to get dates for speeding tickets

    Hi.
All my traffic tickets have been less than $500. I had contested two tickets in court and I won. I don't have any documents from the court for the same. I tried to get Driving Record from RMV but it doesn't mention any of the dates for the tickets and neither does it list the tickets. I'm now at a loss trying to figure out which dates did I receive speeding tickets on. I will appreciate your help on how I could find the information for the same.

Also what is the template that I need to follow if I need to add additional rows for traffic violation on N400 application. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

I also wanted to mention that none of the tickets resulted in any arrests.

Most people don't include traffic tickets in their N400 (and accordingly check the NO box). If you insist on checking the YES box, and you can't get dispositions after contacting the courts involved, then you'll have to tell the IO this. If you like, you can give them a notarised note declaring you have traffic violations that were under $500, never led to arrests, and have either been paid or dismissed after contestation. This is really overkill, though, and normally, if you check the YES box and don't have paperwork to prove it, you tell them so at the interview and they waive you through.

To add additional violations, just include the question number and indicate that you are continuing from the original spaced on the form. Indicate on the form that you are continuing on a separate page.
