Do we need to apply N-600 for Minor, if already applied for U.S.Passport.

Hi All,
I am having a question on Minor's citizenship. My Daughter is 15 year old and applied for U.S.Passport. Do I need to apply for citizenship certificate(N-600) for her? please help here to understand how to works.

It isn't mandatory. However, it is advisable for your daughter to have her own proof of citizenship that will never expire. Otherwise, if she loses her passport, she will always be dependent on her parents' documents to prove her citizenship, and as you all get older, it'll become a hassle. If you can afford it, do file the N600.
