Moving after Citizenship - Things to do

Hi,
Could anyone please help me out?I'm moving from Chicago to California soon.I got my citizenship in 2008.

1. Do I need to inform US Immigration regarding my move by completing some form?
2. Do I need to get apply for a new Naturalization Certificate with the new address once I move to California? Or Can the Naturalization Certificate just have the old address in it?

You need to do nothing with immigration. You're done with them (unless you need to sponsor someone in the future). Just deal with everything else like a change of address with the post office, banks, etc., like any one else would do.

The Naturalization Certificate does not have your address on it.

As already posted....there is no requirement for a U.S. citizen to report address changes.

Yes, I'm planning to sponsor my sister's family for Greencard and I'm planning to move from Wisconsin to CA.
1. If I apply for sponsorship and move, will I need to send a 'change of address' form to UICIS?

2. If I change my address after applying, will it delay the greencard process?

3.Typically, how many years would it take to get the greencard sponsor approved for siblings? As some centers might take longer time than others,I'm worndering whether if I move to CA after applying, will it delay the process.

Your help is greatly appreciated as I'm not sure what to do now whether to apply and move or move and apply as I'm planning to live in CA only for 2 to 3 years.

1. Your sponsorship documents for a sibling won't be requested until after her petition is approved, currently taking 10 to 15 years, depending on her country.
Once your sponsorship documents have been submitted to the National Visa Center (NVC) after USCIS has approved the petition, and after her visa slot is reachable, any address changes that you as sponsor have, should be reported to USCIS on form I-865.

2. It depends on where the process is, and whether you are the petitioner for your sister or merely a co-sponsor. If you are the petitioner, USCIS must have your address changes reported.

I think we have a slight communication problem, in that it isn't clear if you are "petitioning" your sister, or if you are only a secondary co-sponsor (financial).

My guess is that you will be the petitioner, after you have been naturalized. If that is the case and you "petition" your sister, you will be petitioning for a quota visa slot, not for her Green Card.

Could you please let me know what is the difference between petitioner and co-sponsor? I'm a U.S. Citizen(Naturalized) and applying Family based greencard for my sister.
Also, if I apply for family based greencard for my sister, will her son/daughter get into any visa problems when they try to come for higher studies here? Please advice.

You can't just apply for a sibling Green Card, unless a visa slot is available for her SEVERAL YEARS after you submitted the petition for her.

Petitioner is the relative who submits the paperwork for the visa applicant.

Co-sponsor is someone who provides proof of financial eligibility to sponsor a visa applicant when the primary sponsor (the petitioner) lack sufficient income proof to meet the sponsorship requirements.

Please answer the following questions, and I'll elaborate:

1. Do you now have U.S. citizenship?
2. In what country is your sister now residing?
3. Have you already submitted a petition (I-130) for your sister? If so, when?

One more question.Do I need to first submit form 130 to submit the petition for my sister?
My sister doesn't have a birth certificate and me neither.Would getting an affidavit from my mother for proof of our relationship sufficient enough?
Is this needed to be sent along with form 130? Thanks again! Appreciate all your help!

Right, you must submit the I-130 for your sister, then wait until a visa slot is available, a few years.
