Hi everyone,
Please help me with these two question from N-400 (might be stupid but I thought I should make sure):
Part 8 G: How many times has your current spouse been married (including annulled marriages)?
My current spouse has been married only to me, so do I answer: 0 or 1, because they don't say if the current marriage counts or do they mean only previous marriages? (Geez! One should think they must have learned to pose questions clearly after all these years.)
And Part 10 G about the Selective Service: Are you a male who lived in the US any time between your 18th and 26th b-days in any status except as a lawful nonimmigrant?
"Except as a lawful nonimmigrant"? Please someone explain this term to me because the first time I came to the US I was 24 on a J1 visa, then went back home and came back on an H2B visa. So I have been on J1 and H2B status before I became 26 (I got my green card at 29) and I was never required to register with the Selective Service. Does this mean that I WAS a lawful nonimmigrant?
