What happen if parents lose job of a US born child

Hello All,
i have a uncommon question "What happen if parents lose job of a US born child" i.e. if parents holding H1B and H4 respectively and have a US born child of about 1 year and the H1B holder loose his job and not able to find another in the stipulated time. What will happen, do all of them have to go back to India?

Yup. If the non-citizen parents cannot find a reason to be allowed to stay in the country, they have to leave (with the child).

How can a child sponsor his/her parents and what are the other alternatives for the parents to stay in the US with the child?

Just because you have US citizen child, it does not mean you get to stay.

When your child is at least 21 years of age and starts earning money and can show that he can financially support you, he can sponsor you at that time.

Until then, you will have to find your own way to legally stay in the US. Just because the child has the right stay in the US, it does not automatically give any right to the parents.
