  • certificate of naturalization

Hello, when I was 17 I received US passport and green card via my father(family reunification program) but never get certificate of naturalization because i was finishing college abroad. Can some one please give me advice - what should I do to get certificate of naturalization? Thanks!

You may apply for a Citizenship Certificate (not the same as a Naturalization Certificate) using form N-600, for a $600 fee, IF YOUR FATHER BECAME NATURALIZED BEORE YOU TURNED 18.

But if you are not eligible for "derivative citizenship," based on a parent being Naturalized before you turned 18, then you must apply for Naturalization, with form N-400, for $680 fee. But you must have had a Green Card for at least 4 years and 9 months.
