Hello, everyone.
If anyone could give me an advice in this situation I would be very greatful!
Basically, some man X became a USA citizen, and his 10-year old daughter lives with his ex-wife (so they are divorced) in another country. He arranged for her daughter to get an Immigrant Visa and his daughter (Y) travels to the USA with her mother (mother is just on a tourist visa), whilst man X is living in some other country (with American passport). So the daughter Y gets her GreenCard and lives with her mother in the USA, however at some point her mother's tourist visa is going to expire so they need to return to their home country.
The question is: can the daughter naturalize without awaiting the 5 year period and passing exams, as her father is USA citizen and she is only 10? Bear in mind, that they did not enter the country together with the father, and he does not have legal or physical custody on her.
Thanks a lot!
