Australian/US citizenship

Hi, I am at a complete loss. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. I want to move to the US, but I am an Australian born citizen, born here in December 1989. My mother lived in the US for 11ish years from 1968 to 1977, and was a US citizen, and my father was Australian. Am I eligible to move to the US? Or do I have to marry someone :P

Your mother can petition for you but it will take a while.
