Naturaliztion of 10 year old Indian born kid

Hello There,

I have completed 5 years after getting Green card and planning to apply US Citizenship for myself and wife.

1. I would like to know whether I need to wait for completing naturalization process for both me and my wife, in order to apply for our 10 year old daughter - who is also completes 5 years of Permanent Residency in US?

2. How much important it is to go through an attorney while applying for naturalization, if our case is very straight forward?
