Spouse and children's present address

Hello,

I'm currently trying to file N-400 application.

My two children and wife are in India and my children have joined school in India for this academic year. I hope this is a temporary situation, owing to out personal circumstances and they will return eventually. I'm still in the US and would like to apply for US citizenship.

I have a question about what I should be mentioning in the form for their address. Should I be giving the US address or state the address they are at currently in India.

Responding with either address can be justified, since the N-400 question is not relying on current physical location for children, but a legal or contact address.

For students, I normally put their family home address, as I consider school to be a temporary location.
