3 month Physical Presence, just returned from foriegn Trip

I want to apply for US citizenship. I have green card since Dec, 20, 2009. So I am eligible to apply after Sep 20, 2014, that is, 3 months before the 5 years residency is completed. I just came back to USA from a month trip to another country on Oct 1st. So am I eligible to apply for early citizenship before Dec 20, 2014? I am a “continuous” resident of this state for more than 10 years and a year in this district. I have no trip exceeding 6 months in last 5 yrs. Do I have to be physically present in this state/district for3 months “immediately” before application, which I have not as I just returned from abroad. Thanks
