USC wanting to live in India for more than 1 year

What are the consequences if a US Citizen has to live in India for more than one year or more than 6 months.
This person also carries a PIO card and carries Dual Citizenship.

Will they loose their USA citizenship?

Will they be able to enter US after a year of living abrooad??

Please advice.

India does not allow dual citizenship as of now (/no-dual-citizenship-in-india/). What 2 countries citizenship do you have?

As a US citizen, you can stay out of US as long as you want. There is no restriction. There is no paperwork. You will be allowed to enter US any time.
