Out of status wife

I am preparing my N-400 for naturalization and i came across this " spouse immigration status" thing. What will i put? My wife came here on a tourist visa but presently she
is already out of status.
Will there be a problem on my application if i am married to "overstaying" wife?

If you were the sponsor of her tourist visa it will arise question at time of interview...It was your responsibility to tell her to return after her allowed time limit.

Be honest and report that she is here on visitor visa.

There is no issue involving you being considered a "sponsor" of someone on a visitor visa. A B2 visa holder cannot have a legal sponsor, but perhaps an invitation letter.

On the other hand, try to avoid explaining that she is a visa overstay or why, as an explanation might throw you into an "investigative" status.
