Child born to US Citizen in india

If mother is Us Citizen and father is Green Card holder, if my wife decides to deliver baby in India then Baby gets US-Citizenship?
Do we need to apply in US?

No you dont have to apply in the US. You will have to go register him at the nearest US mission or consulate.
