Citizenship for child born outside USA with father only as citizen

My question is what is that if US born citizen ( father ) who marries a girl ( Pakistani national ) and bears a child in the international country Pakistan. Will their children be eligible to become US citizens by birth?

The children's "birth abroad" must be registered at the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan to claim U.S. citizenship and passports. It is possible that the Embassy may request DNA testing.

If, however, the father, though born in the U.S., spent less than 5 years in the U.S., the children might not be eligible to claim U.S. citizenship until they are physically in the U.S. as immigrants.

Does vacation period also count for example a 1 months vacation to the US
