My wife and i just completed the removal of conditional which felt into the 2 yrs 9 month period now.We have been married since July 2011. It has been a long stressful and financial drain period , maybe take a break before applying. Is it recommended to apply for citizenship after just getting the 10 yrs green card? How complicated is it compare to the green card process? What other proof do we need to submit? is it the same type of proof as before? (Photos, bank stmt, taxes....)

Hey, naturalization used to take about 5-6 months when i became citizen but my sisters case is taking about 10months to a year due to high volume of people applying..... it is very cheap.you can do it yourslef dont need a lawyer....
Whatever date you became a permanent resident you can become a citizen right after 5 years from that date, and you can also send the applications 3 months prior to the 5 year date..
Not many requirements, copy of all docs, green card copy, ss copy, drivers licence copy, make sure you have filed taxes for the last 3 years and have no debt to the govt is very important.
