can someone accompany me to biometrics appointment?

Hi,
I have my biometrics appointment for naturalization and i was wondering whether it is mandatory to go alone or someone from my family can accompany me?

Is there a waiting area outside for above purposes?

Normally, you are not allowed to take someone with you, but if the situation arise that someone needs assistance for one reason or another, the officer at the door may allow another person with you. Of course, children who needs to have fingerprints, are definitely accompanied by someone.
Accommodations are limited, therefore, it's not possible to have people always having company.
Others, usually wait in their cars or just stand outside; the waiting period, is so short, that before u know it done. People, normally stays 10 to 15 inside tops.
