  • I didn't file tax return of 2011,my income was $5000 something

I am going to apply for US Citizenship on June, and there is a question on form N-400,part 11 additional information,it says,Have you ever not filed a Federal, State, or local tax return since you became a Permanent Resident?Yes Or No?
I have been to the states for five years (2010-2015)and i thought I filed the tax return every single year until I signed in to the website of IRS to request for the tax return transcript. It shows verification of non-filling in 2011 and no records. On the wage&income transcript section,it tells me that I had 5 grands income in the year of 2011.I was literally taken aback at that moment. And of course i refilled the tax return two weeks ago immediately, filled out the forms, snail mailed them to different offices. I am pretty sure I don't owe any overdue Federal, State, or local taxes, cuz i get refund every year.So what am I supposed to answer the question mentioned above?if yes,do I have to prove to USCIS that I've already fixed it?And how to prove it???Will they still consider that I have a moral problem?

Here is the answer someone gave to me:
You need to learn to pay more attention. It asks if you have ever failed to file a REQUIRED tax return. You didn't. But in order to prove that you didn't have to, it's best to file, even if the income is $0. If you now filed your 2011 return, then you have NOT failed to file, and can answer that question correctly with NO when you mail in your N-400. Again, you need to read carefully. It doesn't ask if you ever failed to file late, only if you failed to file. You didn't.

Then another question might arise is Then what if uscis officer ask me for tax return transcript of 2011 during the interview? Almost one month I don't see any respond from IRS after I refiled(of course I don't expect to receive the tax refund since I filed late)It still shows verification of non-file on IRS official website.
