  • Naturalization Interview Pending Decision

About a month ago, my wife and I went for our Naturalization interviews. While my wife cleared the interview, my application was marked "decision cannot yet be made" on N-652 - Nationalization Interview Results form. The reason was that I did not carry certified dispositions of my minor traffic violations. The interviewing officer stated that she would forward my application for review to her supervisor to see if certified dispositions are required. I have collected certified predispositions for all my violations in case they ask for those. But I haven't heard from the local USCIS office since then. While my wife will be going for her oath ceremony soon, I am still anxiously waiting for them to respond.

    I have following questions:
    1) How long will it typically take for the local office to respond back in such situations?
    2) Is there a way I can send the certified dispositions to the officer?

    Thanks.

To say how long you will wait, is anyone's guess.
If I were in your shoes, I would try a few things:- I would call, make a info pass, taking those documents, along.

Do you have the name of your interviewer?; fix package nearly with copy of your N652 and requested documents and addressed it to her, incase it's allowed. Make copies of all you r taking for your records.

Other than that you have no other choice but to wait....
But I don't think u should worry, u will be fine, even though I can understand your concerns, especially, in the light that your wife is moving on smoothly.
