  • Do I Still qualify to become a US Citizenship?

Hi, Im planing to apply to become a US Citizenship but I have a question to see if that would disqualify me. A few years ago I filed a petition for my wife who lives in Dominican republic. We went to the interview however the Consul did not grant the visa to my wife and sent our case back to the USCIS. Our case is still pending for review in the USCIS. My marriage is 100%. And Im wondering if that would affect me in my application. Also, what should I put on the application regarding her status?

    Thanks

You should go ahead and apply for your citizenship. It's something that's commonly done, while spouse's status is pending.

I'm not sure of the specific question on the form you are asking, but her status is pending I-130 to adjust Status.
