  • Question about the 1 year minus 1 day count for Continuous Residence Requirement

Hi guys. I just want to ask if I am still eligible for the 1 year minus 1 day count for the continuous residence requirement?

    Here's my story.
    I became a Permanent Resident on Feb 20, 2013.
I applied for re-entry permit around March 2013, did my biometric and all that stuff.
Left for my native country on April 6, 2013.
The re-entry permit was approved and sent to the US Embassy on my native country, the expiration date is June 20, 2015.
I went back to USA on June 18, 2015.

In short, I stayed in my native country for 2 years, 2 months and 13 days.

I know that I broke my continuous residency and my clock re-started this year. It says in the Naturalization guide that "If you return within 2 years, some of your time out of the country (1 year minus 1 day) counts toward meeting your continuous residence requirement." However, I returned after 2 years and 2 months.

Is my eligible date of naturalization on June 18, 2020? Or am I still eligible for that 1 year minus 1 day count and can apply on June 19, 2019 (given that I also complied with the 30 months physical presence in the US) despite returning after more than 2 years?
