Hi,
Had my interview at the Federal Plaza in NYC on Augst 10, 2015. I started the process on March 03, 2015 - filing N400. Soon after 5 years of GC.
Passed the interview. My interview time was 3:15PM. For some reason, I was assigned to a particular officer and was not called until 5:30 PM. I was extremely frustrated and nervous by that time. Since I was the only person in that giant hall (and my wife) - her interview was a breeze. I thought they will ask me to come on another date. But I was finally called and the whole process was very quick after that. I heaved a sigh of relief as I was really tired by that time. Things were straight forward for me - I had really gone over the book of questions and answers many times - so I had no problems answering the first 6 questions. And I knew my file. There was nothing out of the ordinary.
I want to take the oath, get my passport made. I want to visit my home country in December and need the visa - so want the whole process to move quickly.
Good luck to all.
