[N-400] A Number on back of check

Hi All,

I filed my N-400 form last Wed with the Phoenix, AZ Lockbox facility.

I did not realize i have to write the A Number on the back of the check.

The instruction on M-479 makes no mention of it. But the document checklist form M-477 does.

Has anyone been in my shoes? If yes, can you share what happened in your case?

My check (for processing fees) was indeed clipped to the N-400 application and other required supporting documents.
And last night, i did receive an email with a case number.

So, you are right. Nothing to fret if the check was part of the entire application. I wish the USCIS forms were consistent in their instructions.
