Hi,
I have a situation with my N400 application. Here is the view of my case:
1/ I apply as a 5 year permanent resident.
2/ Before I came to USA, I had been married and divorced. My immigration documents surely have this information
3/ So, I am filling my N-400 application for naturalization, when they ask "what is your current marital status", what should I answer?
Should I say "single, never married"? Because I actually never married in America. My previous married was not legal in America.
But if they check my immigration status, they know that I had been married once?
