Hi,

Could you please help me to understand my case.
I had US citizenship and naturalization interview today but I got below result from the interviewer officer, it means, am I waiting oath ceremony date or what would be the next step from my end?
Below is the result I got from officer.

"you passed the tests of English and u.s. history and government but a decision cannot yet be made about your application due to you have not lived within the state or uscis district where you claim residence for at least 3 months prior to filing"

Please advice me.

You may need to reach an attorney for an advice or take infopass to discuss this., the reason being-., I believe there is a clause around that 3 month residency requirement from the state where you are filing from/lived in. If you have fulfilled that requirement then an infopass should take care if not you better seek legal help.
