When to apply for Citizenship

Hi.. I am a permanent resident for the past 6+ years. My family also got the green card at the same and living with me in US. I would like apply for citizenship. My daughter is 17 + years old (minor). Should I wait until she is 18 to apply for citizenship or it is OK to apply now?

If the parent of the 17 year old become citizen, she will automatically become citizen if she hasn't reached 18th bday.if you wait until 18 she will have to give test on her own.
