Me and my wife are eligible for US Citizenship. My wife's passport has my last name, whereas her green card has her maiden last name. We would like to use my last name during the naturalization process, which unfortunately does not match the last name on her GC. I am not sure how to go about with this while filing for N-400. We never changed her last name on the GC thinking that we will change it during the naturalization process directly. Now the time has come to do that but we are not sure of the process or the documentation. What kind of documents are required to prove that her maiden last name was changed to mine after our Green Cards were issued?. Is marriage certificate enough, which has her maiden last name? All other documents (her SSN, driving license, etc.) have my last name on it, which we changed after the GC was issued.
