Hello,
I'm a US citizen with a question concerning my boyfriend.
He was brought to the country as a minor on an L2 Visa by his father.
While still a minor he was forced to leave home and has spent his time working to get by in the country.
His L2 Visa was not renewed and while I know his father is still in the country I do not know his status.
He's no longer a minor and while our relationship is serious and longterm, we're not quite ready for marriage just yet.
Is there a path he can take to obtain residency in the country that does not require him to leave the country?
