My citizenship interview is coming up in a week, i am at my final step of preperations, I received my green card through my family and have been lived in the U.S for 10 years, I have never traveled outside of the U.S, no crinimal record nor traffice tickets, my citizenship was applied based on 5 year of recidency, here is the list of documents i will bring to the interview
1: interview letter
2:my green card & SS card
3: my expired foreign passport ( since i have never been out side of the U.S since i came here, i didn't even bother to renew my foreign passport )
4: state issued driver license
5: my tax return & W-2 for the past 5 years, i also gathered the tax account transcrips from the IRS for the past 5 years just to be on the safe side, I always file & pay my tax timely ever since i started working and have income
6: employment verfication letter from my current job
7: school grade report from the school that i attened in the U.S
8: original appoval letter from USCIS when my family applied for my green card 10 years ago
9:my marriage certificate , although i am not applying my citizenship based on marriage, i thought it doesn't hurt for me to bring this .
10: copy of my husband's U.S citizenship certificate
11: my pay stubs from my currecnt job
12: my band statment just to proof my address
13 : our car lease agreement which has both my name & my husband's on it.
14 : 2 extra copy of passport style photo just in case
