Re-applying for the 2nd time issues (seems to be taking longer)

Hello.

I re-applied again this year on April 13, 2016 (that's when they received the application and processed it). My first application got denied due to some tax issues that I've fixed since then.
However, this time around the process seems to be taking longer than usual. I only got one letter that has this line:

"upon receipt of all required record checks you will be scheduled to appear for an interview".

And never got anything else past that, it's been three months now. Should I be worried?
I was made to understand that I may not need biometrics since my application last year has not been greater than 16 months since they processed my application.

Biometrics

Of course you will need to do Biometrics. I recently renewed by GC and then filed N400 and I am scheduled for biometrics.

I also re-applied this year the end of April. Had to go for biometrics , 1 month after application, interview in July, tomorrow I have oath ceremony. I live in Michigan. Each state has different timelines. From start to finish it only too 4 months this time.
