Baby born outside US just before parents getting US citizenship
I have GC and planning to apply for citizenship. I understand the citizenship process might take around 6 months. My wife is in India and we applied for her GC. We are expecting a baby and may born just before I get my citizenship or she getting her GC. In this scenario, what is the option/s to get a GC/Visa/Citizenship for the baby?. I understand if the baby born after my citizenship, he/she would get automatic US citizenship. What if the baby born outside US a month/few weeks before my citizenship?.
