How USCIS validate 3 month residency for N400 application?

Hi - I got greencard in Sep 2011 and planning to start my citizenship process. I moved to India in May 2014 w/ reentry permit but have been frequently coming to US on business trips. I was a resident of Virginia before moving. I am coming to Columbus, OH in Sep 2016 and planning to file N 400 application after 3-months in Columbus OH. I will be initially in hotels/ temp housing. My question is - how does USCIS validate if a person has resided 3-months in state/district in which application is filed?
