7 months abroad
I have been a permanent resident since December of 2004 (12/29/2004 to be exact) and I wanted to apply for a citizenship. But from 2012, I have been traveling frequently and several occasions where I was abroad for long term. Most of my travels were all short term and even the longest ones were still within the 6 months. However, I have one that is 7months and 18 days to be exact when I calculated it which was from Oct 2013- May 2014. Will this be an issue? Do I have to wait another 4 years to apply because of this ?
Also, I just moved to a different state a month ago, and I think I read somewhere that I needed to have lived in the current address for at least 3 months ? Is that true?
