Hello I hope someone can help me with my issue. I got received my conditional green card Feb 2012 by marriage. My wife and I did not stay together for those 2 years. I was able to remove the conditional residency on my own and got a 10 year permanent green card. When can I apply for citizenship? Does the 2 years count toward the 5 years required? Or does it start all over again onnce I got my permanent green card? Thanks

The two-year period of your Conditional status applies towards the 5-year requirement for Naturalization application.
