  • Citizenship eligibility

I received my first green card in the 2013 (10-year extension was granted in 2016). I plan to apply for naturalization in the 2018. As of the end of December 2016 I am absent from the US for 20 months and there were no absences over 180 days at a time. This month I am flying back to the US to stay permanently. I stayed abroad since the end of 2015 until now. I had two short trips and I didn't stay abroad for more than six months continuously. Can my prolonged stay abroad and the fact that I was working abroad be an issue for citizenship?

    Thank you
