Hi,
my mother had green card in 2003.
Last May, she went back to China and planned to be back on October in the last year. She bought a round-trip ticket. But, she had some heart problem right before she left and could not make back.
Now, she is OK and will be back at the end of April.
So, she is out USA more than 6 months but less than 1 year due to medical reason.
I was trying to get more information on the documentation that needs to be included.
1. She is a dependent of mine. Can I use my Tax Return since she doesn't have her own tax return.
2. Does she need to send all the medical records? If so, do I need to have them all translated since they are all in Chinese?
3. My mother lives with me and her name is on the City water utility bill. Do you think it is good to send that one too?
