Waiting for my interview appointment NJ

I'm applied 8/21/16
Recibe application 8/24/16
Biometric appt 8/27/16
Biometric done 9/12/16
After that I'm still waiting just 5 months and few days , my status is "
USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice".

How many more months I could waiting for my interview appt ?

wow I am NJ too. Newark field office waiting for my interview appointment. I did my fingerprints on 01/09/2017 look like I will be waiting for a long time. I am from muslim majority country so maybe I should just forget about it for atleast 6 months. If you don't mind me asking which country are you from? My status still says Fingerprints appointment scheduled even though I already did them 01/09

I received my interview appointment las month Feb 21 them scheduled my interview for April.

It will tell you that about fingerprints until they send you an interview letter. Mine was a 7 month gap in phoenix
