Hi Everyone,
I've recently applied for Citizenship (N-400), completed the bio-metrics and now waiting for interview at Los Angeles Field Office.
I've been convicted for a misdemeanor back in 2002 (sales of alcohol to a minor, which was totally unintentional, but it is what it is).
Received a notice to appear - no arrest.
Appeared, got sentenced to 2 years of probation and fined for about $900.
Paid the fines, completed the probation, expunged the case.
I'm married with 3 kids, 2 of them born in the US, 2 bachelor degrees and no other issues except the above and a couple of minor traffic tickets in 17 years.
Got my GC in 2010.
Can my conviction become a reason for denial or complication?
Thank you in advance!!!
