  • Continuous Residence?

Does USCIS only look at the last 5 years of LPR status prior to application for "continuous residence" part?
Or do they consider since the beginning of LPR status?
For physical presence, it was clearly stated that it must be 30 months out of the 5 last years. But I found it a bit confusing during the continuos residence part.

Continuous residence for the 5 years before naturalization.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

Thank you. I was thinking of that too, but I found this on the USCIS website.

"B. Maintenance of Continuous Residence following LPR Status

USCIS will consider the entire period from the LPR admission until the present when determining an applicant’s compliance with the continuous residence requirement. "

here is the link for it -- https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/H...-Chapter3.html
