  • Problem 2 weeks before sending my N-400

My problem is that I`m living now with my girlfriend for more than 6 months , but the utilities in her name and her house.....how can I show them proof that I lived at least 3 months before file my application...???? I renewed my license FEB. 16/2017 ....Will pay stubs work? will bank statements work? will my tax transcript be considered proof?

The other problem is that I`ve never heard of AR-11 and I moved 6 time and neither one I changed my address by filling AR-11, not coz I don`t wanna fill it or coz I forgot ....no at all....the reason I did not fill AR-11 is I did not know just yesterday and immediately I submitted ...

Now I listed the 6 places I lived in last 5 years in form N-400...If the IO asks me why I did not change my address with USCIS what to say ??? will that causes denial to my application? and how can I approve that I`ve been living in my current place at least 3 months before applying? I have bank statements for 6 months showing my current address, my work pay-stubs too , and my driving license showing my address too....

    help please

Your bank statements and paystubs are proof of residency. Bring printouts for every month since you began living there 6 months ago. If the adjudicating officer asks about your failure to file Form AR-11, admit to being an idiot, and explain that you filed the form online on the very same day you learned about your obligation under INA265. Be contrite, not defensive about your failure. The adjudicating officer will more than likely cut you slack

Ignorance of the law won't protect them from deportation proceedings, so let them know about their obligations (and vulnerability from failing to meet their obligations) to notify USCIS within 10 days of changing their address. Especially in this new era of let's-deport-every-immigrant-we-can policies
