N400 Interview Scheduled - Lost green card

Hi, I have a interview scheduled in 3rd week of april, but i have lost my green card recently. I had a police report as well as photocopy of my green card.

Can someone advise if interview office will accept my situation? Or before even going to IO, is there any check to show green card with interview letter?

You could try going to the interview and asking them to make an exception but why risk it? The Green Card is one of the few things they absolutely require you present at the interview. There are instructions on your interview letter about rescheduling, I believe you have to write a letter explaining why, I'd just be honest and upfront about why and then hope your Green Card arrives before the rescheduled appointment in May or June.

Sorry that happened. I just think it is "low risk" to re-schedule and "moderate to high risk" to turn up without a required item. You could always call them or InfoPass, but I expect they'll tell you to reschedule and apply for a replacement.
