Waiting for Interview S.F office (can I travel while I wait ) ?

Dear Friends,

Any there anybody filed N-400 in San Francisco Office? What is your processing timeline ?

My timeline is:

PD: 11/12/2016
Biometrics scheduled: 12/02/2016
Biometrics done: 12/22/2016
On January 4, 2017, we started the interview scheduling process

So far I haven't heard of anything for the interview schedule. But i have to travel overseas in June. What can I Do? Would you please share your timeline if you filed your n-400 in San Francisco office?

Can I still travel while I wait for the interview? I would only need to be away for 5 weeks and I will have family in the US who can contact me if my interview letter arrives.

SF is my FO, here is my time line so far:

I would not recommend to be away for more than 5 weeks. My friend traveled to Europe and stayed there a month, a ltter arrived just after they left and the intervew was the day before they arrived back.

How often is the processing date updated..

Based on my research and time frame I feel like I might still have another 4-5 months before they even schedule my interview and that was why I ask. Does anybody know or have experienced any interviews for those who have completed Biometric ( finger printing) in Nov/Dec 2016?

Also since the website state:

Field Office Processing Dates for San Francisco CA as of: February 28, 2017
N-400 Application for Naturalization July 9, 2016

Does anyone know how often they get updated and when they do is it in multi month chunks or they simply then move to Aug 9, 2016?

I passed my interview yesterday, 9/27. Recommended for Approval, now waiting for Oath letter. So far 212 days from submitting N-400.
