  • N-400 where to file?

    Hello guys,
    I am wondering if the N-400 filing addresses changed. East side is used to send it to TX and west is used to send it to AZ. Now it seems opposite.
    I live in New York, now it says I need to send to AZ not TX. I am confused is this correct, can anyone please confirm?

    Filing Tips for Form N-400, Application for Naturalization

    Complete all sections of the form. The form will be rejected if these fields are missing:

    Part 1 – Information About Your Eligibility
    Select only one box or your Form N-400 may be delayed
    Part 2 – Information About You
    Current Legal Name
    Date of Birth
    Country of Birth
    Part 5 – Information About Your Residence
    Current Physical Address
    Sign the form at Part 13, Item Number 3., Applicant’s Signature. The fillable version of Form N-400 now includes a “Don’t forget to sign!” message and an arrow pointing to the signature box as a reminder for when you print the completed form for mailing. If there is no signature in Part 13, USCIS will reject the form and return it for correction and re-filing..

    3. Create a USCIS online account for N-400 Applications

    Beginning April 13, customers who submit the revised Form N-400, Application for Naturalization (dated March 26, 2016) may be invited to create a USCIS online account to track and manage their case online depending on how their form is processed.

    If you submit the revised Form N-400, you may receive a USCIS Account Acceptance Notice in the mail with instructions on how to create a USCIS online account. USCIS will continue processing your application even if you choose not to access your online account. USCIS also will continue to send you copies of notifications about your case by mail through the U.S. Postal Service.

    Having a USCIS online account allows you to:

    Check the status of your case;
    Receive notifications and case updates;
    Respond to requests for evidence; and
    Manage your contact information online, including updating your address.
    If you are an attorney or accredited representative, you can also create a USCIS online account, which will allow you to manage all of your clients’ Form N-400 applications in one place.

    Note for Attorneys and Accredited Representatives: You should have only one USCIS online representative account. When you receive an Account Acceptance Notice for a paper form filed at a USCIS Lockbox on behalf of your client, please ensure that you enter the same personal information that you provided on the Form G-28 submitted with your client’s original application, petition, or request. If the information you use to access your online representative account does not match the information you provided on the Form G-28, you may be unable to access your client’s case.

    At this time, you cannot submit Form N-400 applications online.

        N-400 where to file?

        I have 2 questions:

        I am a spouse of military active duty. We live in the CA now, not overseas.

        1) I do file N-400 to Chicago, IL or Phoenix, AZ?

        2) Am I qualified for section 329 of the INA?
