Long waiting time with IOE number and late July priority date

Hi, anyone has a similar experience with N400 application with me
1)07/26/16, N400 submitted in paper and received an IOE number;
2)09/11/16, biometrics done;
3)no updating since then;
4)01/01/17, called USCIS service once every month and transferred to L2 officer once because the representative was not sure about where is my case now; one representative said the case was transferred to the field office;
5)06/12/17, visited NYC field office and was told my background is not cleared yet and the case is not in NYC field office;
6)called USCIS service again and ask why my background has not been cleared after 9 months of biometrics, and get a service request tracking number;
still waiting and no updating
pay tax every year since in the USA for 11 years
No any criminal records at all, even no tickets.
Any suggestions or comments

Not sure what your field office is. My application date was 20th July 2016 and i got interview letter in May 2017.

almost the same situation

I don't know what to tell you, I have submitted my application January 2017 and it stopped in the fingerprint appointment since then no notice I called today and they said that they are still processing applications from August 2016 but I'm seeing some people are receiving aproved notices in 3 months. I have been living here 7 years here and no criminal background or even traffic tickets or anything. I suppose they don't like boring people like us I really hope you find an answer really soon, please let us know how things are progressing.

i live in california and i have been waitting for 9 months since i filed the application,biometrics took only 2 months but after that im here like you,waitting and waitting
