Hi, I had my interview scheduled in Chicago on July 11, 2017 and passed. I was asked where I want to have the oath ceremony and I said Peoria assuming I get scheduled for Sep 20 in Peoria.
Today (Sep 25) I received a notice with cancellation of scheduled oath ceremony in Peoria on Sep 20 due to "unforeseen circumstances." I have never received an oath invitation notice and know that it took place because of friends who went there for their oath. Not sure what is going on in Chicago, it seems someone forgot to send me a notice. Next oath ceremony in Peoria is next year in spring. Hope I will be rescheduled before for any upcoming opening and not having to wait 7 months for Peoria. Cannot even get an INFOPASS for Chicago because no appointments available. All very frustrating.
Please let me know if any of you have similar experiences.
