I applied for citizenship in May 2017. Finger printed in last week of May 2017. Status changed to - "case in line for interview" - in June 2017. Atlanta field office is processing applications submitted in Dec 2016 as per the USCIS website. Anyone here that is still waiting for an interview date ? How long is it typically taking at ATL field office. Thanks everyone !

No updates at my end. Will let everyone know as soon any change in status. As per website they are working on Dec 2016 applications as of Aug 2017. I am sure this timeline is not very accurate. But hoping something will update this month

This is where you check your current status. I do not know where you go. But I do directly to the USCIS website. Do not rely on the field office updates. Be sure to enter the receipt number you have when you filed your case eg. N 400.

My FO is San Jose, CA. I am done with the interview, passed it, was recommended for approval by the IO. I am just waiting for my letter for Oath Taking Ceremony. My case status ways it was mailed but did not have any date. And the IO who did my interview told me that there will be an oath taking ceremony on Nov. 28.

My case status ways it was mailed but did not have any date. And the IO who did my interview told me that there will be an oath taking ceremony on Nov. 28.

I got my notice for the Oath Taking Ceremony on Nov. 6, 2017. The Oath Taking is on Nov. 28. My journey is almost over.

ATl field office as of Sept 2017 is processing applications from Dec 2016 ! I dont know if this is accurate or conservative estimate of how long the wait time for us will be !
